Welcome

There's much to see here, so take your time, look around, and learn all there is to know about your RV Tank Spa Day!

Scheudle your appointment

Prepare for your RV Tank Spa Day!

Full Hookups

Our RV tank cleaning services require you to have full hookups and available for me to use at your site at an RV Park, Resort or Campground

  • Full 20-amp, 30-amp, or 50-amp shore power outlet
  • Sewer hook-up
  • Water hook-up

These need to be available for me to use while I’m cleaning your tanks.

Dump Tanks/Leave your Sewer Hose

Please dump your RV black & grey tanks before my arrival.

Please leave your sewer hose attached and in place.

If there is an issue preventing you from dumping your tanks, please let me know in advance.

Plan Water & Electric Usage

Depending on your/campground set-up:

  • I may need to turn off the water to your RV during your RV black & grey tank cleaning process.
  • I may need to also turn off your electric.

Please plan all water/electric related activities until after I have finished your tank cleaning.

  • Dishes
  • Showers
  • Bathroom Usage
  • Washing machine
  • Dishwasher
  • etc...

Slide- Outs

If you have a slide-out that is close to or over the sewer outlet of your rig. I ask that you pull in your slide to make it easier for me during your tank cleaning process.

Macerators

Depending on your set-up:

If you have a macerating pump I may or may not be able to provide tank cleaning services for you:

  • If you have a macerator pump that sits between your tanks and your sewer pipe (hooked to your sewer hose), I regret that I am unable to provide tank cleaning services. My equipment will not be able to pass through your macerator pump.
  • If you have a macerating toilet and want your tanks cleaned we can clean those tanks.

Tank Care After Hydro-Jet Cleaning

RV Toilet Paper

After Care

Keeping your RV black & grey tanks happy until your next cleaning....

Flushing your toilet

  • Fill the toilet bowl with water before you flush it.
  • The weight and quantity of that water, flushed all at once, will often prevent many black tank issues.
  • Use a small amount of septic safe toilet paper.

Dumping your tanks

  • Empty your tanks when they get around 2/3 full rather than waiting until they are full.
  • Many tank sensors are inaccurate, and you can damage your tanks by over-filling them.
  • Dump the black tank first, then the gray tank.

Close your valves

  • I strongly recommend closing the valves in between dumping your tanks.
  • Even though many RV sites say that you can leave your gray tank valve open all the time, I don’t recommend it.
  • When there is no liquid in the tanks, grease, soap, hair, skin, food, and other debris that doesn’t get fully washed out it sits there and bakes on the surface of your tanks. Not only does this waste and debris begin to line your tanks, but it also traps odors and can build up. Most people are shocked when I tell them that the gray tanks are usually much dirtier (and smell a lot worse) than black tanks.
  • In addition, you are inviting all the creepy-crawlies and sewage flies that live in and around the sewer to make a home in your tanks.

Tank treatment

  • I recommend JustScience brand TankTechsRX tank treatment.
  • It provides good health for your tank and the water system at your RV park.

How to put tank treatment in your tank:

  • Put the recommended amount of tank treatment in a 5-gallon bucket and fill the rest of the way with water. Slowly pour the entire bucket in your black tank through the toilet.
  • Repeat for your gray tank and pour the water/treatment into your sinks and shower.

Dawn Dish soap

  • Using for washing dishes as this helps to break down the grease in the tank.

How often to get your tanks cleaned

Recommending Professional hydro-jet tank cleaning

  • Full-time RVer's once a year
  • Boondocking or dry camping often every six months
  • Recreational RVer's every 1-2 years for recreational RVers.

***Never Use a Pressure Washer in your tanks, this WILL cause damage.

I use a custom Hydro-Jetter designed just for your RV.
